As anyone got any useful infomation on asbestos, i'm currently reviewing my companies asbestos control procedures, which at the moment is not very good. I have all the asbestos essentials guidance and the CAWR 2006 but i've just seem to have hit mental brick wall. I work for a housing association, so if any one works in a similiar environment i would be interested in hearing from you ..

Hi Brian, do you have a specific technical query? Put some questions on here and we can all have our input. Ta.

Go back to the Management Plan requirements because it is this that you should be putting together. If it is not really your area then I would get a consultant to help. This is what I had to do for one Northern HA until they had brought on board a person to take over.

You will need your directors committment though but most are aiming for the gold standards!:-)

I think I could be of help in your efforts.( if you have not completed your review yet) Drop me an email at mshields@oxford.gov.uk and we can discuss your gaps.
