I appreciate it was a hack to save anyone typing in an SQL query, but why on earth did IOSH bring in the myriad of old posts without retaining the name of the original poster somewhere in the message - it makes everything in the careers forum completely useless, and anyone searching the previous posts has no idea who's giving advice on what - threads with back-and-forth debates are impossible to understand. Of course old accounts can't be transferred across, but it's common courtesy to insert (posted by XXXX) in the first line of anything imported from an old database.
Given the complete liability and copyright we are expected to extend to IOSH for our posts, I expect the writer of what I read on here to be identified even if it's just a username from the old site.
