I had a question asking me which label should be used on a cannister for flammable compressed gas. Looking through a book of labels I can see plenty of green diamonds stipulating non-flammable compressed gas, I can see a green diamond stating compressed gas and I can see a red label stsating flammable gas (but no reference to compressed). Does anyone know what the correct label to use should be?

I take it that it is a transport label that you are looking for.

The flammablity takes precedence so it is a red lablel with a number 2 at its base.

Can I ask why the supplier has not included this information, as there is more information required to be shown like UN number.

There may be exemptions that apply for a special provision or it may be transported as limited quantity (if these conditions are met) i.e. if it is for an aerosol
