We are (and that is not the Royal 'We' by the way) looking for training to cover emergency rescue from broken down lifts. As some of you may have seen, Fire Rescue Services are increasingly putting this type of incident on the 'we'll come and see you if there's nothing better to do' list. So we want to train staff from the Estates team up to be competent in emergency lift rescue procedures. We've had one quote but we'd like to find other providers in the Sussex area to get some competitive pricing.

Have you tried the lift manufacturers or service company? We managed to get the training out of ours for free.

I'm awaiting relies..... but am not holding my breath! I like the idea of 'free' - it has a certain ring to it! Thanks anyway. I've even mailed the body that represents lift manufacturers and installers today, so we'll see how much of a rise they get out of me.
