Hi All

First time on board with this new look website- so bear with me, if I inadvertantly post this several times!!

I was wondering can anyone advise me on the requirements of the ISO18001.

I am a mere fledgling when it comes to the ISO family and am a little in the dark as to what is exactly required. We have the Safe-T-Cert but it is mainly recognised in Ireland (North & South) so we are considering opting for the more famous of the H&S Accreditations- no offence meant CHAS!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you wish to hit me via email feel free- phoenixrisin@fastmail.fm

Kind Regards

Lee

Do you have ISO9001 or 14001 by any chance? If yes 18001 runs along similar lines. If no then PM me, I have an example put together for my Dip course.

Lee,
Get hold of a copy of OHSAS 18002. It is a guide to the requirements and implementation of BS OHSAS 18001.

By the way, 18001 is not an ISO. It is a British Standard.

BSi have some guidance here: http://www.bsi-emea.com/...entingOHSMS/index.xalter

Have a look at the IOSH Guidance document, 'Systems in Focus'. http://www.iosh.co.uk/in...18324393b&version=-1

This is freely available and will have a lot of specific information which you are looking for.
