Don't forget to switch off your mobile phone. Out of interest how many petrol stations do you know that have blown up because someone used his mobile? Thought not! Oh and don't forget to wait behind some lardie that takes 10 minutes to put his seatbelt on before eventually driving off and allowing you to fill up.

I'm lead to beleive that none have blown up but analogue phone signals were found to cause the dials in the pump to freeze so people would end up paying less and that the ban was to cover this. Probably just an urban myth.

Don't forget to do some shopping in the now obligatory minimarket that petrol stations seem to be turning in to. Don't worry about the the people queuing to only get fuel. They won't mind waiting. :-)

And please ensure you have an overdraft facility as the prices seem to be going up daily. Regards Alex It doesnt matter what day it is for a bit of humour.

You seem to have forgotten a key point. " and your mileage sir?" options then are 1. Make it up 2. Embarrasingly walk back to car and check it again (trying to remember this time whilst the queue tut tuts) 3. Don't bother then get told off when the monthly report comes through Andy
