I have just completed the NEBOSH Gen Cert. My results are due next week. I have just been given a £1000 in which i want to invest into my training and development.
I have been looking at the NVQ4, but obviously havent got the funds for that. Ive been toying with doing the NEBOSH fire and constuction courses as well. Can you have too many level 3 qualifications?
Has anybody got any advice? My aim is to get into consultancy. Do I look at doing a number of small competency based courses or the NEBOSH fire and construction?
Is there anybody who is responsible for recruiting who can give me advice on what you would be looking for in an applicant.
Your advice is appreciated.
Many Thanks
Paul

Hiya
You're not in Yorkshire are you as that money would get you the NVQ 4, or there's funding for the NEBOSH's here too.
regards
Linda

Hello Mr Paul!
Difficult one to advise on without knowing the details of your employment circumstances and your individual goals and learning style. For example, you might look at environmental or construction type options, self study, e-learning and so forth. Perhaps a chat with your current provider might help you decide?
Best of luck.
