Hi All
Thought I would share this one with you.
Just went to pick up my new Safety Boots from stores as mine have finally given up the ghost.
On the Shoe Box in big letters it says……..
Warning Do Not Eat!
I would have though the sole a bit rubbery and the toe caps and mid sole protection a bit difficult to chew but with a good sauce I may have been convinced to try eating them but obviously can’t now that the box has told me not to! Or do you think it was telling me not to eat the cardboard box – because that obviously needs to be turned into a greek dessert with some shredding, honey and cashew nuts.
OK I am going now as I have made myself hungry!!
Yes it is Friday but I am serious about the warning on the box. Health and Safety Madness I say!!
LOL!

Perhaps they make Clogs cornflakes, or Dover sole, or jellied heels

I bet they were made in southeast asia.
It's obviously a cultural mis-translation. We said we don't want foot & mouth and they've taken it to mean do not eat your shoes! ;-)

most likely something that has been lost in translation - however - on the side of box on new trainers recently purchased in clear red lettering was the legend- Average Contents 2. It does make you wonder if you would have any comeback if on opening the box you found only one trainer or even worse three!

I was recently putting out new fire extinguishers and came across the safety instructions. I thought I'd share some with you all....
Do not use this extinguisher to carbonate soft drinks
Do not use this extinguisher for target practice (including darts, air rifles or shotguns)
Do not drive over this extinguisher
Do not attempt to drink or inhale contents.
My mind boggles!!!! :-D

It seems an entirely reasonable warning to me, trust me you ain't gonna want to eat my boots after my feet have been in them for a day :-)

I think that is a sensible warning if your dog got hold of the box or shoes!

My Border Terrier obviously needs reading lessons then, as he has had a fair few shoes in his time. He took a shine to the wifes 9 West ones. She was not best pleased. Not to mention watering cans and the kids trampoline. Oh, the kitchen table legs all have teeth marks in, as do the chairs. Could i have claimed then, if he had iinjured himself as there were no signs warning him not to do so? (joking BTW)
cheers
