I work in a Spray Paint facility with a dedicated Oil Free Compressor which supplies the Breathing Air Supply, the Spray Bay is within a large hanger as is the Breathing Air compressor in a dedicated sound proofed area. The inlet for the Breathing Air Compressor is in the large Hanger and not an external Fresh Air supply. There has never been a Failure of Breathing Air, either from Monthly checks or 6 Monthly external testing. I cannot get acces to the BS EN 529:2005, is there a requirement for external fresh air supply to the Breathing Air Compressors or is the Hanger Air acceptable ?
