Can someone remind me what needs to be considered when gifting items to third parties.

For example, we have an old trailer which we no longer use and would like to donate this to a local charity we work with.

The trailer has been serviced by a local company and has been deemed safe and in useable condition etc. Is there anything else that needs to be considered or we should be aware of?

Thanks,

Under PUWER regs you probably have a duty to provide operating instructions/manual etc if such exists. It's the new owners duty to make sure people are then trained to use/maintain it.

We probably don't have user instructions, is that necessary for a trailer?
