We've been asked if we've ever had any of our projects assessed under the CEEQUAL scheme. I know little of the scheme but it does seem expensive. Is it worth it?

I haven't come across it, but I do wonder if your thread title might have been more explicit than it was i.e. "is the CEEQUAL scheme worth bothering about" as I note you have 160 hits and no responses. Just a thought.
Hope you get some sort of naswer to help you though.

Look up the subject on the web to get enough info to understand and be able to form an opinion - its all to do with design and best practice especially re environmental areas
"Is it worth bothering about?" = The answer to that question is in the 'eye of the beholder' as in all things.
In my personal opinion it is one of the packages of ways that we should all be going however its up to the clients noting how convincing the case for CEEQUAL is put to them by the designer/s. Additionally planning laws are always changing and best practice environmental management is one theme that is getting stronger and stronger within those laws / permissions so perhaps in the future no construction will be allowed unless such schemes are being used
