Hi there
I have recently gained my Nebosh General cert but have found it really difficult to find any sort of work. I have had mainly construction industry experience with 5 years at management experience so ideally would be suited to that sector in a health and safety role but I am really strugglibg to get any sort of joy with applications, is this the same for everyone?

Yes, I’m afraid so. I have a colleague who is chartered with over 20years construction safety experience who cannot even get interviews at the moment, it’s a sign of the recession.
On a positive note, I’m aware of a few companies who have taken on new starters at entry level, so keep trying - you will succeed!
