Could anyone help with the above. I have been tasked to deliver to apporx 30 new managers a one day seminar on implementing a safety management system within their existing workplace. There is a wide and varied skill level of attendees and many have already completed Risk Assessment and other specific related H & S Training. I wondered if anyone had any useful syndicate exercises they could forward to me covering the key elements of a SMS so that I may break up the sessions and promote discussion?

If you could help my email is stuart.morris@lancashire.gov.uk

many thanks

Always provide examples of what each trainee can gain from health and safety and always finish on a positive note and present examples e.g. I facilitated in a risk assessment where the assessment identified a different way of doing something which was equally good and proper and there was a cost saving of >80% on the origional proposal costs
