I am a highly motivated and dedicated Health & Safety practitioner. I have obtained NEBOSH Diploma amongst various other highly regarded qualifications. I have over 2 years of health & safety experience and I’m working towards Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) within the next 12 months. My experience ranges from, construction, pharmaceuticals, local authorities and utilities. I am currently studying the NEBOSH Environmental Management Diploma.

My main position was a SHEQ Advisor for a consultancy company which I would like to return to (after working in utilities).

I'm looking for work; full, contract, daily.


SHEQ Advisor; my responsibilities & abilities are detailed below; this is not an exhaustive list:

 Compiling and updating health and safety policies.

 Undertaking safety audits in numerous sectors e.g. manufacturing, dental surgeries, veterinaries, children centres, retirement homes, construction firms, farming etc.

 Undertaking fire risk assessments in numerous sectors e.g. large & small office based companies, local authority sectors, dentists, vets etc.

 Undertaking construction site visits on behalf of clients, principle contractor and sub-contractors.

 Compiling and proofing construction phase health and safety plans.

 Compiling method statements and risk assessments.

 Pre-vetting contractors through pre-qualification questionnaires.

 Chairing health and safety meetings on a monthly basis.
