Good Afternoon
I am surprised at the number of Health and Safety Professionals who are in the same position as myself as a result of redundancy, down scale of workforce etc. This is the first time in my working life, 30 years so far, that I find myself in this position
Employment agencies in my short experience of unemployment [now at week 6] are not as effective as they appear. I have had a more positive response when dealing with companies/potential employers directly.
I am a Grad IOSH member and also hold membership of another two institutes, 6 years experience within the health and safety field and hold other relevant competence certification, my location is North Yorkshire.
Could any other member give me [and others] any advice or direction on moving forward during this very difficult time?
My current CV is available on request
Regards
