Thought I would like to offer some assistance to those who currently find themselves searching for work due to reduncancy or unemployment etc.

Its all very well detailing on your cv or these posts what you can do or your duties in previous posts, any employer worth his salt will know your capabilities based on your qualifications and your experience. Try looking at a different angle, and highlight your achievements, what you have done, try to make yourself stand out as being the best available candidate.

Some examples of achievements could include xy % reduction in accidents/lost time injuries, number of business safety awards won, implemented ISO whatever (9000, 14000) management systems to full certification, etc, etc but be prepared at potential interviews to back this up by highlighting how these were achieved.

It worked for me...............! Always found alternative employment quickly, even in these dire times.
