Hi Tony,
My understanding is that SEPA do not have a consolidated list (and nothing on-line). The public registers are held in 'registry' departments in the main offices for each surrounding area i.e. Aberdeen, Dingwall, Edinburgh, East Kilbride and Perth.

You may wish to contact these offices to establish how to obtain the hard-copies that you are looking for.

You will find the relevant contacts through the following link: http://apps.sepa.org.uk/map/index.html

Regards,
Ross

Hi Tony

I think you might have difficulty in persuading a COMAH site to store your chemicals which might be incompatible with whatever makes the site a major hazard, and your storage might negate their Major Accident Prevention Policy.

Puzzled as to who is telling you that your storage site must be "COMAH approved" ?

Used to be a list on the HSE website but my understanding was that it was removed on grounds of national security.

If your company is a Chemical Industries Assocaition member, you could try its network to get some feedback.

I have had expereince of other CIA members making specific requests that were circulated to appropriate member companies, but your request is unique, and unless the prospective COMAH sites actually manufactures/stores the same chemical, it is unlikely that anyone would want to increase thier risk and undergo additional expense fo revising thier safety case etc etc

Cheers Peter
I already run a COMAH top tier site in England. We may have an opportunity of some business in Scotland if I can find a site that is suitable to store our products. If the site is already top tier the amount of products to be stored should not be a issue under COMAH. I agree their MAPP and other documents may need to be altered slightly.

Thanks
Tony
