Has anyone put together a risk assessment for this ? As far as I can see the plumbing system is good. We achieved ISO14001 and the auditor has asked whether the legislation relates to our building. The original building dates from c. 1984 and we have a large extension dated 2005. Jimb

Hi Jim, I would have thought you needed to start with a survey of the systems to identify any potential hazardous areas (showers perhaps, or dead legs) and check water storage and pipe run temperatures, etc. Just a thought though... A

For bedtime reading, I suggest you start by reading the HSE document L8. This will give you many pointers to where your systems might need monitoring, and may alert you to things you have not thought about. Jane

Jim The HSE do a DVD on Legionella that I found made L8 make much more sense. Unfortunately you have to pay for this unlike the paper documents. Try this link http://books.hse.gov.uk/...alogueCode=9780717662616 Brian.
