I have been searching the net to find some case law on an employee getting prosecuted for misconduct under The Health and Safety at Work act,

I am not sure if i am being blind but i cant seem to find any,

Any help, what fine did they get etc ?

I entered 's7 prosecution' into Google and got this

A search of the HSE prosecution database for section 7 offences might find a few.

Hi Safezone.

Not a lot. Could also be potentially prosecuted via Section 36 of the Act so you could go to www.hse.gov.uk/prosecutions and then

click Advanced Search

next page, change default Cases to Breaches

then Act - HSWA AND

Act Section = 7 OR

Act Section = 36 GO

11 hits including some multiples and at least one which has been incorrectly entered into database.

You shouldn't find any in the Prosecutions History database as older convictions of individuals as against organisations should be recognised as being "spent".

If you search 'HASTAM all entries' and go to the redirected page, put s7 in the search box it gives you pageloads to read through.
