Have they had any training before or are they newly appointed and as yet untrained? Also, what is their position within your business?

The guys I'm training have been members of the H&S committee for some time, but the structure of the committee wasn't right. We are currently moving from an old Warehousing site to a new purpose built site, we are using this as an opportunity to upgrade the safety management processes & procedures.
I'm a H&S Officer with a background in training.

Have you thought of using the local TUC to give the training? A few years ago I used the TUC in Liverpool, they provided good safety rep training free. Just involved a day away from work for the attendees.
