Hi
I have got my MSc in Environment Health & Safety under the University of Sunderland. I have also got BSc Engineering degree under the Civil & Environmental Engineering Programme. I got MSc degree in 2007. I have tried several ways to developed my carrier in Geo-technical Engineering or Environmental Engineering field last two years but I didn't get much interest in this field.
Now I am planning back to Environment Health & Safety areas in which areas I got my MSc degree. That's why I have started a small consultancy business & I recently got Diploma in Energy Assessor.
Now I am doing part time a retail job and hungry to establish my carrier in Environment Health & Safety areas. By Law, I think that any competent person can start practice in this field. I got a MSc degree but I don't know how to start!!!!
But I need an advice from any professional. I think there are lots of professional or competent person is member of this forum. if any one give me some advice to spending their valuable time, I would be grateful to them. I have summarised my query as-
1.How can I start practice in this field to using my MSc degree? My programme was related to Health and safety at work, Risk Assessment, Environmental Management & Auditing, Report Writing, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Pollution and its control.
2. Do I need to more training to start a career in this field?
I am sorry for my long letter. I am depressed to much about carrier.
Please help me anybody to save my dream, goal & carrier.

Con grats - you have done well to date

the next step is to get to grips with marketing and sales as without an understanding of these subjects you can have as many qualifications and experiences as you like but you will still be trying to sell with your product 'in the dark'

read up re these areas and try to gain some understanding; whilst also attending your local IOSH branch meetings to gain contacts and then post another help request
