I am about to finish my time in the Army, I am hoping to start my own business as a H&S consultant and trainer.
I would welcome any advice or would love to shadow someone to see how I can transfer my skills to civilian life. I have 22 years experience as an engineer, my last H&S jobs were an international airport, several construction sites and mechanical and electrical workshops. My qualifications are CITB site safety manager, NEBOSH - general, fire, & construction. I also have IOSH -environmental management accreditation. I also have a myriad of military quals.
I am an NVQ assessor, internal verifier and C&G 7307 FAETEC.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or pointers from the experienced and not so experienced members on this forum. I would also be willing to work for free (short term) if it is mutually benificial on a knowledge basis.
Thanks in advance
Bob
