Hi

In the words of my ex Director, I am a victim of the “economic downturn” which in plain old English means I’ve been made redundant recently. Whilst keeping busy helping a few local firms on a voluntary basis I need to get back into employment!

My previous position was H+S Manager however I also have lots of experience as an Advisor, consultant and trainer. I also take a very sensible approach to H+S!

I hold the NEBOSH Diploma, HNC in Engineering, CIEH professional trainer, all the usual IOSH certs and am currently studying for the C+G7303 PeTTLS course. I am currently GradIOSH, working (albeit slowly) towards Chartered.

My previous employment involved dealing with the risks associated with HAV’s, Respirable Crystalline Silica dust, CoSHH, Noise, Dermatitis, Manual Handling, workplace transport, driver risk etc etc. In previous employments I have extensive knowledge in Engineering (process, production, general etc), farming, retail so have a broad knowledge and experience base. I have also experience in quality, auditing and environmental issues but don’t hold any quals in these areas!

I am based in the East Midlands just North of Derby and am happy to commute reasonable distances (own car/clean license).

If you have anything that you feel I may be interested in, or you want more details and a copy of my c.v, please drop me an email.

Thanks for reading

Holmezy
