Hi All, Apart from the commercial arms of the two well known charities. Does anyone know of any other 1st aid training providers that have multiple venues across Great Britain?

:) - and what's wrong with those? I work for one and so have to be biased! There are private trainers out there, you may need to seek localaly - try yell.com? I know the NHS offer a service http://www.wcas.nhs.uk/services/commtraining.htm or http://www.firstaidcafe.co.uk/ http://www.fofato.co.uk/ They have to be HSE approved so the HSE must have a list??

One of them thinks the tail should wag the dog. I'm looking for other providers and would like to look at more than just one and ideally a provider that is customercentric

You could give Direct First Aid Ltd a bell - I don't know if they've got their own venues as they come into our offices to train. We use them for our defib training as they're the preferred trainer for the company that supplied the defibs to us. For general FAW training we use one of the big two - I joined them as a cadet 35 years ago, and although I'm no longer a member I'm very happy with the service I get from them, so I've stuck with them. I can't find the number offhand, but if you Google Direct First Aid Ltd, they've got a website with all the gen.
