It was referred to as the "six pack" because the EC Framework plus 5 daughter directives were transposed into GB regulations that came into effect on the same date, i.e 1st January 1993! Whether any "subjects" have been added or taken away depends upon your understanding and definition. One of the revisions was to PUWER in 1998, as has already been pointed out, but what hasn't been mentioned was that because of this PUWER had a daughter, and her name was LOLER, so the 6 pack is now 7, John
