Apologies if I am going over old ground!

Could anybody point me towards a definitive guide containing statutory health and safety record retention schedules? This will avoid hours of trawling through the pertinent legislation.

By the way, I am also looking for environmental retention schedules. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

On coshh related records concerning employees (I stand corrected if otherwise stated) I believe a 40 year period is required. So if an employee leaves or reitres then the clock starts the 40 yr count.
Other areas are more subjective unless regs dictate a period. A 10 year period is the norm.

For Enviro we retain for 10 years altho waste transfer notes are legally only req'd to be retained 3 years at present, but good practice suggests to retain poss to 5 yrs just in case.
