I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding the above - whether it be in the form of known hazards (specifically in relation to asthma) or coshh risk assessment - i have found some information from the AfPP but am struggling to find out more information - i am looking at ensuring all relevant control measures have been implemented.. any help would be gratefully received

The medical literature has much information on the subject.

You will be able to find this using the bibliographic search systems though if you do not have institutional access you may have to pay for access to individual publication sources.

have a look at the following for starters

http://www.bohs.org/reso...e/529/Surgical_smoke.pdf

and for instance the companies 3m and Eschmann manufacture diathermy machines so if you look on their sites you may find some useful information.
