Hi,

Does the mains shut off valve for main gas to boiler equipment need to have a visible sign to identify it? The location is identified on site plans and maps and provided to fire authorities but no signage displayed at valve indicating what it is.

Cheers

No you don't HAVE to have one , but its a very good and sensible idea.
I do on my industrial site.

Our local fire Brigade have told us to put a sign up so that they are fully aware of where it is in emergency (even though they have it on their map of the site)
