At least I know one person will read this!

Noticed this last weak but did not have time to make a Friday posting. Reading a post I noticed that Chris Burns had the forum rank of Super Forum User. A little research showed that this means he has made more than 300 postings on the discussion forums.

Is Chris our 1st Super Forum User?

Chris your either a very helpful person or have too much time on your hand. Keep up the good work.

Uh Oh!

Watch people start posting waffle just to bump up their tally (11 left to go!) ;-)

Congratulations Chris. What super power have you been blessed with?

Post no. 301 - or have I done a few more since last Friday?

Thanks Brian, I didn't realise there were titles available, don't know what to think?

Very proud,
Embarrassed,
Do I have too much time or is it that I just like to help?

Is there a certificate?

Can I put this into my CPD?

What I do know it that this discussion forum is brilliant for people like me, self employed and working on my own, to bounce ideas off other safety professionals, and to put something back into the forum.

I always say that "I don't' know what I don't know" and these discussions help me to find out the answer to that.

Just try to catch me you lot! ha ha

Apart from sundry Mod's and Admin, yes.

I am halfway down the second page if you list forum users by total post count and will just have to console myself that quantity is no reflection of quality.

;-)

Bitter?

What comes after super? If we're talking retail it would be hyper, if sport it could be ultra. We all need something to aim for,

This is a great Friday thread and opens up all sorts of mindless distractions and futile competitions, just great for those idle moments between web-surfing and navel gazing and perfect for task-avoidance (VAT return).
Yossarian, I didn't know there was a counting system. Regular readers will have a good idea as to who the top few are but, purely out of idle curiosity you understand, please point us in the direction of how to view the league table.

Chris, wear your current crown with pride: others will be seeking to wrench it from your grasp.

Have a great weekend.

1) First log in;

2) Make sure you are on a "forum" page;

3) Go to the grey tabs at the top right hand corner;

4) Click on the "Members" tab;

5) You will be presented with an alphabetical list of posters about 388 pages long and displaying the first 20;

6) Hover over the "Posts" column and click;

7) You (or your boss who is checking up on you) should now be able to see the 20 most frequent posters;

8) You can also go to other pages by clicking on the relevant page number.

If I was really clever I would have published that on 8 seperate posts to increase my count.

Glad I have brightened up a Friday for a few people.

Chris 347 and counting!

Stuff4Blokes.

I too was curious at the top of this page is a tab which says MEMBERS (I think you may have to be logged on to see it) click on this and it brings up the forum members list which you can order in various ways. Your own 88 postings beets my poor 11 (sorry 12) we have a long way to go to catch Chris and Safety Smurf (290)!

Stuff4Blokes your response was not there while I started drafting my response not trying to out do you honest (13!)

Brian

P.S. at that point I drop out of this thread.

I didn't know about this until this morning, however now I do know I'm chasing a couple of Mods then the biggy of them all "Admin".

I am quite competitive really so what are the odds on me overtaking 438,715 postings?

Thing is Chris, if you got too close they might play just dirty and suspend you for a month or so.

It's a meal out tonight, my son's birthday - pizza red wine birthday cake balloons etc.

Don't worry about catching me for every one you post I'll do two.

I'm just waiting for the Mods to close this thread down - noting to do with safety but it is a really good thread for teaching us a little more about the forums.

Think I'll go out this weekend and get myself a Superhero cape. Hmmm? hi-vis yellow or orange?

Welcome to the three hundred club, now that there's two of us I request we elect a safety rep, form a committee and hold meetings every month.

Who will be our third member I wonder?
