Hi, I completed the BSC level 3 qualification and am now embarking on the NEEBOSH Dip in OSH. My question is straight forward enough, but seems to be a little grey in that the majority of employers I speak to have not actually heard of the BSC qualification and are unsure how to make a comparison. Can anyone clarify exactly how the BSC level 3 and NEEBOSH Gen Cert compare in industry and how well the BSC qualifications are rated? By the way, I've been serving in the armed forces for 22 years and due to leave, which has prompted me to start asking questions regarding accredited qualifications.. Many thanks Carl

Hi Carl, I did the level 3 with NEBOSH and the Diploma with the BSC (although still not finished, pending assignments) I rate the BSC Diploma highly. Good course content and very well taught. BSC in my opinion seemed to have a tighter control on who they allow to teach their courses. In reality the BSC Level 3 and NEBOSH Certs are at the same level, as are both Diplomas at level 6 but NEBOSH Quals are defintely more known to people outside of the H&S Field.
