Hi, Wondering if anyone has seen a good solution to gaining access to the tops of shipping containers and other units which have DNV frames (A offshore oil and gas specification). Ideally looking for a solution which can be easily moved and transported as this would be used in the main base and in offshore locations. Any advice welcomed... Many Thanks Ian

Ian, Can you give us some more details on what type of installation we are talking about. Moving vessel, Fixed platform, etc. You have a bit of a challenge there, but give some more details and lets see what we can come up with.

These are basically 20/40 foot sea containers fitted with iso blocks on each corner. The application is both on land and at sea (Where they will be singled stacked). The other potential application is for offshore DNV type frames, again single stacked on land or at sea on a platform/vessle/rig. I have seen lots of applications, but not one that is easy to use and transport to remote sites or offshore. Most only allow for limited access which is not practical for our needs. I hope you can help... Cheers Ian

Hi Ian, We also need access to container tops but fortunately we have an overhead crane to which we attach an inertia reel and harness to (with a second man in attendance). Is this something you can do? Steve
