Just been thrown a curve-ball, being told that we should be displaying an electricity at work poster by an engineer. We do display the H&S law poster...but the EAW poster is news to me?

Me too, guru. Do they mean the electric shock first-aid poster?

No idea bud....we do have the elec shock poster up. I've already said to the person in question that there is no requirment for a EAW poster, but there is a requirement for the H&S law poster.

All bang on. There is no actual requirement for the elec shock poster since earlier legislation was revoked by the EAW, but it is useful as a first aid memory jogger and can be seen as an element of ensuring a ssw.

Hi Guru, I think the others have probably confirmed your opinion, but just thought I'd agree too. There's no explicit requirement for a EaW poster... If electric shock is a particularly high risk at your location, then maybe it could be considered RP to have the electric shock first aid posters, but then I'd have to have a how to disentangle from a FLT poster.. Hope you get it sorted...
