Hi, I need your opinion regarding site safety violations of the contractor and subcontractor (PM,Engineers,Supervisors and Safety Officer).

Many times I recommend to removed from the site some engineers and lately the safety officer due to using of unsafe scaffolding platforms, unsafe excavation, working in confined space (septic tank, soak away and manhole), hot work, lifting operation and other related construction unsafe activities.

From my side our PM and concern engineers in deffirent fields are always informed and cc thru my HSE site tour reports. I was facing troubles also because some of these violations are repeated cases.

My question is who is going to penalized now because they are not doing action or no desciplinary action to the violators.

thanks in advance to all.

I think that provided you have suitable records you should be OK noting that the client has a role to play and it is they who would be investigated initially. You can only do what is reasonably practicable
