Looking at the new TG20:08 it states that Scaffolding has to be inspected weekly once it has been erected.

The old BS 5973 said that scaffolding had to be inspected every 7 days, after significant modification or after adverse weather.

It seems strange that theses elements arent documented in the new TG20:08. Maybe I have missed something??

Any comments?

I have always taken the view that scaffolding must be inspected every 7 days, and after any modification or adverse weather. I suspect the requirement is detailed in legislation, possibly the CDM regs or ACoP.
