Hi,

We are in the process of reviewing and updating our Road Transport section of our health and safety policy, this is to ensure we have the most relevant policy specific for our business. Also, after consultation with our insurers we believe that with Corporate Manslaughter this is one of the main targets to come under scrutiny and possible prosecution.

Has any one written a policy who could give any advice for the contents, at present I have included Drivers Duties, Planning Journeys, Speed, Fatigue, Competence, Fitness, Alcohol & Substance Abuse, Mobile phones and Vehicle Security and Emergencies.

Also, we wish to implement a system for Daily Checks on the company vehicles and we are toying with various formats of forms, again, has any one got any examples contents and the forms that they use?

Many thanks

Will
