I have completed Modules A,B and C of my Diploma and currently doing module D for Sept. I might be made redundant in the near future from the company i have worked for 27yrs. I have been an active safety rep for the last 10yrs and my passion is geared towards safety and improving standards. I will be completing my diploma and if made redundant want to go into teaching in the colleges etc. I know i need to do my cert ed to be able do this, and i also need to have 80hrs teaching in to go along with the course for experience and assessment requirements. I think i might be able to get the 80hrs of teaching by voluntary work at a local training centre but can anyone give me any advice, it would be really appreciated. Thanks

Hi, Just to let you know that you do not need CertED, desirable not must. Look at attaining C&G 7303, 04,05 PTLLS Preparing to Teach in Lifelong Learning Sector. Easier to get and Nationally recognised by Colleges. Good Luck, hope the Job stays
