Hi all,

One of our electricians suggested that all technicians should wear safety glasses while working on an open electrical panel. Others dispute this requirement noting that the only risk is of a flash and that safety glasses offer no protection against the same. I was wondering what is best practice in relation to this matter.

there are more than flashes of light given of in a 'flash ' incident and that is where such items can come in
