I really did not want to have to post this sort of message but times must... I am currently facing redundancy. So I am now actively and urgently seeking alternative employment. I am a Safety and Compliance Manager with extensive experience in Health and Safety within a changeling environment for Future Welding. I have 8 years of experience within the Railway and 6 of those years in Health and Safety / Compliance. In my current role, I am responsible for the General Health and Safety of our operations, as well as insuring compliance with our ISO9001:2008 certification, the railway approval body Achilles (Link-up) and other general internal compliance. In the recent months I have been working hard to improve the companies health and safety culture which forms a symbiotic relationship with the new Health and Safety Policy/Procedures which I have rewritten and currently providing training on to our workforce. Since Jan 2010 I have been working on my NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health and Safety and within the next week or two I hope to have completed the final unit and have it put before the verifier for approval. I then will be applying for my Grad IOSH status and begin my IPD to continue to develop towards Chartered status.
