To anyone that can help! My partner completed her NGC a while ago and is currently studying the Construction Certificate. She would like to request if anyone would be willing to let her visit a site for some practical experience and to gain significant knowledge.
If you can help please let me know, Many thanks Mike

Hi Mike
Can’t help myself I’m afraid, but have you thought of trying to seek assistance through your local IOSH branch (or district in your case, as the midlands I believe is split into 4 districts).

Hi,
If she's serious about visiting sites she may want to get her CSCS card first as most of the bigger principal contractors wont let anyone on site, including Health and Safety bods, without one.

Do you think perhaps the response would be better if she asked for help herself?
No offence, but it's a bit like me applying for a job on behalf of one of my kids. Employers and those giving opportunities generally like someone who takes the initiative and makes the effort themselves.
I'm not sure why she hasn't asked herself but it's not too difficult to get registered on the forum herself.
Just a thought. My thought. You may not agree.

In terms of getting onto a site DNW is correct, many of the Principal Contractors demand the CSCS card. You can or course get a visitors card, as you may be unable to get the black card for H&S Professionals.
I see Cairel’s point, get the other half to register on the forum. Also you can contact most of the major players in your area, via their safety dept’s, and ask if you can visit. One of my former employers did this all the time. Have you also asked the training provider that you did the NEBOSH course with - most have very good contacts within the industry.
Hope it all goes well.

If she hasn't, put her in for it. More easy to do than waking up in the morning. Assume with a visitors she could get on most sites anyway.
