I am attempting now to establish a procedures for working at heights and fall protection in my company safety manual, it is a drilling company which has many rigs onshore and offshore ones, we are located outside the uk and there is no a specific regulations here but we can refer to any multinational standards, HSG, OSHA, etc.
As well I need to focus in the Man Riding task which is a daily activity in any rig.

Can anyone help me with any guides, references, tips or advice?

there are several guidance documents on the Work At Height Safety Association web site. The HSE refer to these guidance documents. Google search WAHSA.
