Hi
I'm aware of the FSA guidance (http://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/pdfs/foodhandlersireland1009.pdf) on this area and the best practice questionnaire contained in the guidance (Annex 3). What I was hoping for was members from food companies to comment on how they follow the guidance in practice. Do you ask everyone involved in food handling who has been abroad (anywhere) to complete a return to work questionnaire whether or not they have alerted you to symptoms (as seems suggested by the guidance) or do you only ask food handlers returning from a specified list of countries to do this. May be only those who alert you to symptoms are asked to complete a questionnaire.

We have 50000 employees approximately in the UK and asking all of them to complete the questionnaire whenever they return from a holiday would be problematic.
