I am seeking the experiences of the members here. I currently work for a large organisation involved in higher education with locations spread across the UK. At the moment, we use a large national occupational health provider to deliver core services to, principally our staff, and on occasion students. This delivery includes the management referral situation, ill health retirement, health surveillance, pre-employment screening etc. Although generally pleased with our current provider, we want to put our toe into the water and see what other providers can offer and possibly go through a re-tendering process when our current contract expires next year. Obviously, I want to target any approach to reputable organisations and where there may be competence that has already been tested by other relatively large and diverse operations. Bearing that in mind, I would be very grateful if anyone out there could let me know there experiences of occupational health providers (good and/or bad), contact details if they have them and any general views on service they might have experienced.
