Hi All, Lots of posts about fire doors (FDs) but none yet to mention about letting the force be with you !!Recently on a DDA audit found a set of FDs ( relatively new site) to have FDs that a wheelchair occupant had no chance of opening.Apparently the closuire force was set at 49 Newtons.According to Building Regs part M 2004,advises 20N. Have any of you guys had such a problem? i.e. Do installers set the closures high and wait for complaints? Regards,Paul
