Hi, I am putting together a response for things that we as an organisation need to ask our contractors on an annual basis, if you have any suggestions of what we would need to ask for other than insurance documents, that would be great. Thanks

How about checking if they have had any notices served or legal action taken against them? You could ask them to sign a declaration and spot check some of them - or do all the checking yourself; it would depend on the numbers

Hi Leah On our annual review we look at the performance of the contractor over the past twelve months, in terms of both how they've operated on our site and their general industry performance. Things such as accident rates, enforcement notices, near misses etc. are considered as well as asking for confirmation of renewed insurance, updated policies etc. Feel free to PM if you want to discuss more. Stephen
