Hi, Not sure whether this is appropriate or not. I am looking for a reliable training provider for a very small number of personnel in the following: PASMA, IPAF Boom & Scissor, Ladder Manufacturers Association ladder training, MEWP harness training by IPAF, Asbestos awareness, CCNSG & Supervisor endorsement. Any suggestions & recommendations please? Really NEEDS to be local, sorry! Thanks Paul. If this is not an appropriate question, sorry!

I know of a company that does the Pasma, ladder, harness stuff for a client of theirs in Cardiff. Major international company at that (client that is). They are not actually local in the strictest sense but if it has to be local for an ISO 14001 issue, they're already doing work in the area so it’s not like they travel just for you. The company head office is in the midlands, but Mike lives way out west some way. Mike (the tutor) is a decent chap. Bags of experience, got some interesting and very modern kit, rates are good. I did my Pasma with him. 01530 833533. Ask for Mike. Tell him "a numpty in an astronaut suit" recommended him.

Nationwide Hire have a training centre in Swansea and I have used them before for PASMA, IPAF and safety harness training. I would recommend Providence Training in Neyland for CCNSG and supervisor training and it also worth looking at the CSCS web site as I have done several courses that you have mentioned with the construction skills college in Swansea venues. Happy hunting.

A Plant Bridgend & Barry training in Baglan should sort you out.
