Hello My name is David Mclaughlin and i live in Merseyside. I have completed my NEBOSH Construction certificate where i acheived a Credit and i have also completed my NEBOSH Fire/Risk Managment certificate which i am waiting the results of. I have 17 years experience working in the engineering and construction industry as a QC/QA Engineer (nuclear submarines), supervisor and time-served pipe fitter across a diverse range of areas such as nuclear, petro-chemical, ship-building, food processing and commercial. My key experience gained includes management of quality control inspection and safety procedures, supervision of small teams and safety representation of the workforce. I also have experience in working to ISO 9001 and 18001 standards. I am trying to kick start a career within health and safety or possably in CDM co-ordination. I do understand that key experience is sometimes essential so i would also consider any assistant roles or voluntary unpaid work any where in the North West to help me gain experience.
