At present I’m looking for a career change into full time health and safety but in full time employment. Now I know this may take a little time and want to put this time to good use. At present I have no health and safety responsibilities but do have the qualifications (Diploma), so have offered to train in-house the company health and safety rep in RA. During a recent company survey health and safety received low marks, so have offered help and advice to the senior manager as the contract has no in-house health and safety advisor. Can any one see this being a problem as I think it will help to enhance my CV?

Cannot see it becoming an issue unless there could be internal politics that could cause managements noses to be put out of place.

That is without a shadow of a doubt!
