Hi all,
SHP is currently looking into the vast and complicated area of training and career development for practitioners, in the context of the current economic climate, and we are trying to determine what the biggest issues are for you in this respect. It's fairly clear from the posts on this forum that things like how to choose the right course and/or training provider; should I do the cert/diploma/masters; what types of courses/ qualifications are most likely to increase my chances of getting a new/better job; etc. are general concerns but what other areas do you find it difficult to get good advice on? SHP is putting together an informative event involving training providers and organisations (including IOSH, of course), practitioners, recruiters, and learning and development experts and we want to be sure that we address the issues that really matter to you so please do let US know what YOU want to know so that we can make sure to provide the information you need.
Thank you!
Tina - SHP editor

From the International perspective an attempt by SHP to remember we are subscribers too. Engage with the different international branches to see what we require.
