Hi Guys I find it quite a challenge completing the additional information section on a job application Form. Wondering how to go about demonstrating my skills, experience and knowledge with regards to the person specification. I would appreciate it if anyone could enlighten me on how to approach it. Also I would like to see some examples. My email is kofimaddy@hotmail.com Thanks kofi17

Hi Kofi, Do you undertake CPD, if so give examples. Do you have hobbies, give examples so that the potential employer sees that you have an adequate work life balance. Hope this is of use to you.

The additional information section is your opportunity to demonstrate how you meet the person spec and experience criteria with you own expereince and qualifications etc. You could compile it in such a way the each para is your demonstration of the relevant part of person spec/experience, be it through previous, existing worrk or CPD etc. Remember that if it is an application form that you have received with a person spec, your aim should be to demonstrate that you meet all the essential criteria and if possible all or most of the desirable criteria.
