Cyclists topic being locked - Not a complaint

Just seeking clarification on something - This topic was locked on the basis that it was a Friday topic - Nowhere does it say in the opening post that this was a Friday topic
So why was it locked - not a complaint - just seeking clarification.

Not sure what difference or not that it was a Friday topic would make, are Friday topic immune to normal rules. i think trying to re-open or complaining about the locking of a topic is against most forum rules on what ever website you are on. the moderators have made the decision and as members we have to live with that or take the argument to them personally rather than debating it on the open forums.
i think the original topic had lots of discussion around the initial post and leaving it to continue was probably going to have little to gain.

Phil,
that was the rationale given for the locking of the post. Hence Just seeking clarification, I generally respect the decisions of the moderators, but after all, they are like the rest of us, human.
